Old Souls Club with Lauren's Loft

Welcome to Old Souls Club, a welcoming crafting community open to all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned sewist, old or young, this is your space for skill-building and a little self-care. 

 Our "open-sew" sessions allow you to work on any project you’d like (it doesn't have to be sewing-related, bring your craft supplies and enjoy the collective space!). For beginners, we offer optional monthly guided projects to practice essential sewing techniques.

Lauren, a local maker and sewing expert, will provide guidance, answer questions, and create a friendly and laid-back atmosphere. Snacks and tunes included😊 This is not meant to be a 1-on-1 lesson, as the facilitator will need to be available to help all of the participants with their questions.  All levels of sewing experience are welcome, but it is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of your sewing machine. If you're brand new, please call ahead of time so we can properly accommodate you! Come as you are and learn alongside fellow crafters.

 🧵 What to Bring:

Bring your project and supplies (fabric, thread, sewing machine, and sewing tools including pins). If you’re just starting out, all supplies are available in-store with a 15% discount when attending class! Ironing board, iron, and cutting mat provided.

 📅 When and Where:

We meet every other Friday at the Sewing & Quilting Center’s event space from 9 am to 5 pm. Drop in when it suits your schedule! 

 💰 Pricing:

Participation is $20 per session, or join for the whole month at $35.
